Previously known as DiskAid, the iMazing software will help you manage your iPhone from the comfort of your desktop machine. Install iMazing on your Windows or Mac desktop, launch iMazing, connect your iPhone, and you’re set! You can view details about your iPhone, view photos, watch videos, check out your messages, see your call history, and more.

iMazing is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system. Support is provided for any edition from Windows XP onward.
iMazing is available for Apple’s Mac OS X. Support is provided for any edition from OS X 10.7 Lion onward.
iMazing provides support for multiple Apple mobile devices: iPhone, iPod, iPad.

Getting started with iMazing is a fairly simple process: install the software on your desktop computer, launch it, and connect your iDevice (you can connect via WiFi or by using your USB cable). Once you do so, the application’s interface will be populated with information. The nice thing here is that you won’t have to go through a steep learning curve to get accustomed to the interface.

From this interface you can efficiently manage your iDevice: view details about your iPhone, like the iOS version that powers it; manage all your apps; manage your music; manage your contacts; manage your videos; manage your messages; back up and restore data; transfer data from one iPhone to another; and more.

You have 14 days at your disposal to use iMazing for free and uncover all the features it has to offer. Once this trial period expires, you will have to purchase a license to keep using iMazing.

Get iMazing and use it to efficiently manage your iPhone, iPod, or iPad from your PC or Mac.

Pros

iMazing is available for Windows and Mac. Installing iMazing on a Windows PC, as you can see from the Quick Look video that accompanies this article, is a simple matter. You can connect your iDevice using your USB cable or via WiFi. You will quickly figure out iMazing’s interface. Use iMazing to manage your iDevice from your PC or Mac. Use iMazing to transfer data from one iDevice to another.

Cons

Trial limitations: 14-day trial, nag screen. Tip iMazing used to be called DiskAid. My colleague Frederick Barton reviewed it some time ago. Check out his comprehensive review here.
